Candidate Interview tips:

• Go into the interview believing you have as much to offer the company as they do you
• Remember you only get one chance to make an impression so dress up wherever possible
• In addition to the comprehensive information STRATACON will provide, research the company as much as possible yourself through private contacts, the company website etc
• Remember the name of the person interviewing you
• Do not criticise past employers
• Take your time to reply to questions. If nervous, take deep breaths
• Use positive body language and eye contact as much as possible
• Use examples where you can to demonstrate your abilities
• Remember modesty is no recipe for success. Highlight your achievements and relate how you think you can add value to the company
• Finish the interview on a positive note, thanking the client for their time and remember eye contact!
• After the interview, write down the pros and cons from the interview. Remember you may have a few job interviews arranged or a busy schedule at work. It is important that you don't forget all the important points to come out of the interview, positive or negative
